10 Tactics ist ein Dokumentarfilm und ein Toolkit. 10 Tactics untersucht wie Aktivisten in verschiedenen Regionen der Welt Information und digitale Technologien nutzen um positive Veränderungen zu bewirken. Im Film erzählen Aktivisten beispielsweise über ihre Erfahrungen damit, Menschen zu mobilisieren, den Einsatz von Video und Story-Telling, über Möglichkeiten der Visualisierung von Informationen, Arbeit mit Netzwerken und partizipativen Ansätzen, Umgang mit komplexen Daten, oder das Aufdecken von
Information.
Begleitend zum Film gibt es ein Toolkit, welches zu jedem Themenbereich Tips und Techniken für die Planung eigener Kampagnen und Info-Activism Aktivitäten auf Basis des Films aufbereitet.
10 Tactics wurde von Tactical Technology Collective produziert. Viele der Interviews wurden auf dem Information Activism Camp im Februar/März 2009 gedreht. Weltweit finden zur Zeit Aufführungen des 10 Tactics Films statt.
Toolkits zum Film inkl. DVD, sowie weitere Publikationen von Tactical Tech zur taktischen Nutzung von Technologien in Kampagnen und Info-Activism (Message-in-a-Box, Mobiles-in-a-Box, Security-in-a-Box, Mapping for Advocacy) werden an dem Abend erhältlich sein.

10 tactics for turning information into action explores how rights advocates around the world have used information and digital technologies to create positive change. In the documentary, activists share their experiences with activities like - mobilizing people, witnessing and recording rights abuses, visualizing information, story-telling, managing networks, dealing with complex data, participatory documentation, or exposing information. The documentary goes along with a toolkit, that provides tips and advice to plan your own info-activism.
10 Tactics is a product of Tactical Technology Collective. Many of the interviews in the documentary were recorded at the information activism camp in February/March 2009. Currently, launch events of the film are happening around the world.
Toolkits incl. DVD, as well as further Tactical Tech publications on the tactical use of technology for activism will be available at the screening event (like Message-in-a-Box, Mobiles-in-a-Box, Security-in-a-Box, Mapping
for Advocacy).
